80.3% of Mason County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 64,964 citizens living in Mason County in 2021, 80.3% were old enough to vote, equating to 52,189 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 27,375 were male, constituting 52.5%, and 24,814 were female, making up 47.5%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Mason County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77.9%.
